Overall goal of the project was to contribute towards a prosperous and stable community that will effectively and efficiently use natural resources proceeds for improved livelihood and sustainable development.

Key Activities of the project;

  • Conduct regional interface meetings on use of petroleum revenues to support a transition to sustainable renewable energy as part of climate change mitigation and adaptation strategy
  • Hold regional quarterly dialogue meetings on natural resources with focus on land, oil and forests.
  • Conduct Capacity enhancement training for CSOs on natural resources in order to engage government and private sector investors on natural resources to remain compliant to national and international policy framework and standards.
  • Sensitize the community on the local content of government policy.
