The overall goal for the project was to strengthen the property rights of women and children affected and infected with HIV/AIDs in order for them to access, utilize and own land and other productive resources in accordance with articles 26, 33, and 34 of the 1995 constitution of the republic of Uganda.

Key activities implemented were:

  1. Conducted quarterly radio talk shows throughout the life of the project.
  2. Facilitated key stakeholders’ interface meetings on quarterly basis.
  3. Conducted community outreach programme (participatory forum theater) in major trading centers on monthly basis.
  4. Offered paralegal services for most disadvantaged women and children.
  5. Carried out sensitization on women and children land rights.
